2009 Season Registration Opens January 1, 2009

The Elite Players Tour is pleased to announce that registration for the 2009 season will begin on January 1, 2009. The 2009 year will consist of approximately 10-12 summer tournaments, possibly a few non-summer events, quality day of event give-aways, outstanding trophies and awards, college recruiting support, scholarship program, and more. Membership is limited to 250 male and female players ages 8-18.

Returning members can bypass the registration process by registering for the "private tournament" as instructed by the site administrator. Please contact us eliteplayerstour@aol.com with any questions. All others must register as new users. Membership fees must be paid at time of registration.

2009 will be our seventh year of offering quality competition on premium courses at affordabale rates and we are very excited about the 2009 porgram. Thank you.

2008 Scholarship Winners

We are pleased to announce our 2008 scholarship winners - Katy Gradle, Nicole West, and Gunnar Welch. All three members are highly skilled junior golfers, but more importantly are great students and valued contributors to their community.

Elite Players Tour Scholarship Program
The Elite Players Tour offers all members who are in or entering their senior year of high school the opportunity to participate in the Academic and Athletic Scholarship Program. The criteria used includes grades, community service, and golf skills. Please forward a resume by September 15th for consideration. Since 2003 we have extended more scholarship money to deserving junior golfer scholar athletes than any other organization in the state. We thank all of our supporters of the scholarship program for their support.

Arnold, MD (10-7-08)– The Elite Players Tour Junior Division have announced their 2008 Player of the Year Awards. The winners are 16-18 Boys Jay Dove, La Plata, MD; 14-15 Boys Co-Winners Bart George Arnold, MD, and Ryan McVey Linthicum Heights, MD; 12-13 Boys Ty Herriott, Brandywine, MD; 10-11 Boys Bennett Wisner, , MD, 8-9 Boys Will Halamandaris, Annapolis, MD; 15-18 Girls Nicole West, Upper Marlboro, MD; 12-14 Girls Erica DeVal, Arnold, MD; and 8-11 Girls Alexis Emmett, Phoenix, MD. “The Elite Players Tour is pleased to recognize and honor our 2008 Player of the Year Award winners. This year we had a record number of participants making this year’s Player of the Year Award winner’s even more special.
