The Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) provides opportunities for women to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life!
Since 1991, the EWGA has touched the lives of over 85,000 women. This not-for-profit membership association currently has nearly 20,000 members in over 200 chapters throughout the United States. The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter (SFBAC) of EWGA offers a wide range of organized golf activities, player development and education programs, volunteer, social and networking opportunities for both novice and experienced golfers. Our season officially runs from March through October, but that doesn’t stop many of us from playing throughout the year! We offer 3 types of events formats for all levels of play: Tournament, Just Golf and Niners. - Tournament events are competitive inter-chapter 18-hole events with different formats (stroke play, scramble, best ball). Various prizes are awarded at the end of each event.
- Just Golf events are non-tournament 18-hole events in which several tee times are grouped together at selected courses.
- Niner events are 9-hole events catered more to beginnning golfers, but open to players of all abilities.

As an EWGA San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Member, you can also participate in: - Clinics on golf skills, rules, and etiquette, for new and experienced golfers
- Occasional match play against other NorCal chapters
- Opportunity to compete in the EWGA Chapter Championship, a three-step tournament ladder, starting at the local chapter level, advancing to the regional level, and culminating in the Association Finals
- Weekend getaway golf and “mini golf school” outings
- Fun social and networking opportunities
