If you have ever thought about joining a men’s club, now is the time. The Homestead Golf Course, Men’s Club is looking for men (18 yrs & up) who enjoy playing golf. Regardless of your ability you will be matched with players of similar skills (all tournaments are flighted based on handicaps).

Located in south Lakewood, the course offers 18 unique and challenging holes. The Homestead is a unique golf course, a bridge between a championship and an executive golf course; a championship short course.  The Homestead measures over 5,000 yards from the tips and plays to a par 65. Elevation changes of over 200 ft. add to the challenge. The Homestead features eight par 3’s, nine par 4’s and one par 5.    


Don’t let the yardage fool you! This links-style course, designed by Denis Griffith, will prove challenging to the best of golfers.     To master this course you’ll need to use every club in your bag.
The Homestead Golf Course has been rated as one of the 10 best short courses in the country. Most holes have spectacular views of the mountains and city. The Pro shop and Maintenance Staff are the friendliest around assuring you of a great time.

Join us and compete in up to 13 flighted tournaments through the golf season. Win prizes, attend special banquets, socialize, and have fun! Tournaments include club championships, match play and other unique competitions. Senior tournaments (50+) are held during the week throughout the season. As a member you can help the Homestead Men’s Club defend its unblemished record in the 3rd Annual Lakewood Cup vs. Fox Hollow Men’s Club. This premier 2 day event is held in late May utilizing both courses. As a member you will receive an official USGA handicap index, and membership to the Colorado Golf Association.

If you are interested please fill out the application ( get the application ), our season starts mid April 2010 and runs through October. It’s a great way to get more golf in and improve your game. Most of all it’s fun.
