Our Purpose
The Teesters By-Laws state that the "objective of the organization shall be to encourage improvement of skill and knowledge of the game of golf, as well as foster good sportsmanship, friendship, and proper golf etiquette among its members.
About the Teesters
The Teesters was founded in l984 by Nonie O'Leary. The Nonie O'Leary Club Championship tournament is played every year in August to honor her.
We are an 18-hole ladies' golf group who play on both the Incline Mt. Course and Championship Course. All ladies who have an index of 53.8 or better are invited to join us and play on the Mt. Course. We do require a 43.9 or better index to play on the Championship Course.
Our home course is the Mt. Course, which we play every Monday morning from June through September. We also have regular Play Days at the Incline Championship Course on Wednesdays and Fridays. In addition to play days, we have numerous tournaments: Member/Member, Member/Guest, Beat the Pro, President's Cup, Club Championship. We also have three couples events, participate in Sierra Nevada Team Play, and have one tournament where we challenge one of the local men's golf groups.
As for additional social events, we host the Opening and Closing Luncheons as well as two potluck lunches (one after Beat the Pro, the other after the Club Championship), and three potluck dinners at the beach.
