| Southwest Golf Media Association (SWGMA) is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and aims to be the premier non-profit, professional organization of media professionals dedicated to promoting the game of golf and maintaining the standards of golf journalism in the Southwest. Each media professional seeks to present the game of golf in ways that offer compelling visuals, captivating stories, and insight regarding trends, developments and insights into the game. SWGMA seeks to bring attention to the area’s rich golf heritage. SWGMA members will include writers, authors, photographers, TV and radio personalities, columnists and videographers. Associate members may include colleges and universities, tourism boards and visitor’s bureaus, public relations firms, golf equipment and apparel manufacturers, retail stores, publishers and more. |
